What I Will and Won't Miss....

about being pregnant, that is!

Will Miss:
*Random people coming up to me and asking me questions while staring incredulously at my
belly.
*Feeling my baby move around inside me; I even enjoy his little kicks!
*Having my husband help me with everything...including getting up off the couch.
*Friends calling frequently to check on me.
*Comparing pregnancy notes with my friend Sharon who is due any day now.
*Snoring...it drives Mark absolutely crazy. Seriously, he goes nuts when I start to snore. He snores all the time, and denies it. I love being able to "get back" at him this way! :)
*Sleeping in my own bed. Since I've started snoring we've slept in separate rooms. Neither one of us has slept this well in months! This way, he gets to keep the covers, and I don't have to be constantly awakened by the varying patterns/volume of his snoring.
*Having people smile at me simply because I'm pregnant.
*Constant attention from friends and strangers.
*Co-workers sending dinner over to our house.
*Having an excuse to not clean the house.
*Being in the elite "pregnancy club". You can't join unless you've been through it!
*Watching with amazement as my body morphs with each stage of baby's growth.
*Having my hubby and I feel baby move and talk about the life we created together.

Won't Miss:
*Random people coming up to me and asking me questions while staring incredulously at my belly.
*Frequently hearing how huge I am....I do have a mirror, thank you very much!
*Strange hands being placed on my belly without my permission.
*Bed rest!
*Swollen knees, calves, and ankles-seriously, the body I knew and loved is looooong gone! (I hope to recover it soon)!
*Only being able to wear ONE pair of shoes.
*Numb hands.
*Kidney cyst pain.
*Maternity clothes...I did fine until my feet decided to swell beyond recognition. Being limited in the shoe department unfortunately limited my maternity wardrobe.
*Wrestling with support pantyhose.
*Peeing into a little tiny cup every time I see the doctor. It's been a while since I've been able to see the cup once I assume it's in the correct location. My guessing game has not always been correct.
*My popped out belly button....I've always preferred having an innie.
*Questions about sex from students!
