7 Months Old Stats:

Jake is 7 months old today.


He is currently weighing in at 22 lbs. 3 oz. and is 28 inches "tall".

He can roll over and is able to sit up unassisted.

No teeth yet, but he has quite a firm bite.

He is getting ready to crawl, but so far only spins in circles or scoots backwards.

He can yell, scream, scratch, pinch, and pull.

He drools constantly and goes through approximately 3 bibs a day.

He LOVES to eat. Squash is his favorite, but he enjoys trying new flavors.

He is currently signing "more" and "milk" as he has been taught at day care. We just aren't sure he's using them appropriately as his hands always seem to signaling "more" and "milk".

He loves to be tossed into the air.

He loves family kisses (all three of us kissing each other at once).

He loves Moosey (a beloved stuffed moose that is fuzzy, colorful, filled with noise, and portable).

He sleeps about 12 hours a night, but is not much of a napper.

He is artistic and loves to paint. He enjoys playing in shaving cream (see below), new textures, and ripping papers. Day care has brought out the "creativity" in him :)

He loves to grab faces, and he especially loves to pull glasses off of faces. (Daddy's have been pretty mangled once or twice).

He smiles ALL the time and is a pretty happy little boy!
