Check-Up

Just got back from my most recent baby check-up. Things look good. I'm measuring at 24 weeks, even though I'm beyond that and I have only gained a total of 15 lbs (8 of which I put on in the last month...thank you, vacation to the cabin, and all the delicious food that accompanied that vacation) :)

Anyhow, I suppose no news in the baby department is good news. It is strange to think about how different this pregnancy is from my pregnancy with Jake. I'm not sure if it's the gender factor, or the fact that I do not have a cyst on my kidney this time around. Either way, I'm thankful.

I'm also thankful (and delighted) to report that I still have ankles! Every day that I wake up without cankles is a bonus (especially in the ever-increasing heat of summer).
