Our New Kitchen and Floor

As mentioned earlier, we are not yet done with the laundry list of home improvement items we are still working on, however, the parts we have paid someone else to come in and do are done. No more snail-paced counter man, no more idiot on the phone to complain to about the snail-paced counter man, no more cigarette butts outside the house, no more strange men peeing in our toilet (actually on our toilet), etc. We don't have to put up with anybody else coming into the house! (Here is where we exhale a huge sigh of relief and do a little happy dance!!!)

I cannot thoroughly explain what a relief it is to have these people out of our home. We've been working on putting furniture back and we've been making a list of all the new pieces of furniture we need. So, if anyone is struggling to come up with ideas for us for Christmas.....think couch, love seat, entertainment center, 46" flat screen TV....
I could list a few more items but I don't want to appear too greedy :)

So, there you have it! The rest is up to us....ugh. Next on the agenda is putting up baseboards and tiling a back splash.
