We've been trying to get all the old crap out of what will be the baby's room today. Our moods have not been the best while doing this simply because we have NO PLACE to put all of the old crap. Now, to be fair, I'm calling it old crap, but it is crap that we must keep with few exceptions.
(I smile with glee at our tiny little Goodwill pile. I can't wait to get that small pile out of my house!)
We have such a small home and no storage.
Also, to be fair, I must explain our moods before embarking on this challenge: we had just finished filing our taxes (of course, we owe $), and I had completed writing a paper for class. Needless to say we were both already grumpy, and our grumpiness was exacerbated by our lack of space.
Therefore, I found myself wishing for a House Fairy that would come and grant us a new home. Of course, the new home would be much larger than our current one, but the payment would stay the same: 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, 2 car garage, storage shed in an ample-sized yard, and 2 stories tall.
House Fairy, oh House Fairy, where are you???

If you find the house fairy, do me a favor and send her my way as well!!!
Yeah. Do you think the house fairy would finish the backsplash in our kitchen? And find us tasteful window coverings? And do a little carpentry? Do you find it in the yellow pages? If it says its name is Bill then I'm running away.
Great post.
I remember wishing for a bigger home. Now I have a bigger home than I used to and wish for a cleaning fairy :) Glad to hear that we're not the only ones who get grumpy!
