A Bit of a Downer

I've had some medical appointments as of late, and so far all that I have learned from them is that my body is a freak of nature. I had another doctor appointment this afternoon (second one this week). He told me some depressing information, sent me for blood work, and will call Friday with the results. I'm feeling like a complete and total loser- oohh, can I add the word FAT before loser? BLAH!!!

I don't mean to post such negative news, but sometimes talking (okay, blogging) about things makes me feel better. I should write about something good like my Crystal Apple award, or Saturday's Halloween party where we won first place again. I could even blog about Mom's productive visit and brag about our nice, refinished kitchen table and baseboards (thanks Mom!). But no, I'm in a bummer of a mood and when I get this way, I tend to focus on the negative. Does anybody else do this too?

Okay, enough depressing posting for today....I'll stop.

Congrats on the Apple award that's awesome. I am sorry you are having health problems. I hope it isn't serious. I know how you feel about having a body that is a freak of nature. I want to see pics of these halloween costumes.
I hope you have a better day tomorrow!!!!

Em - So sorry about the health issues. I know it probably doesn't make you feel any better, but my teeth are a freak of nature. My latest thing: gum disease. Yup. The hygienist thinks it may be hormone related. Hormones? Wait, aren't those the things that cause all the migraines? Migraines are a 100% effective form of birth control. Not that you want to know any of that, but since you're already having a bad day, I thought I might as well tell the universe that I have gum disease in your comment section. Yeah. That's because I love you. Um, I'd better just stop. Hope things start working out for you and your body soon. - Jess

Hey Girlie-
You stay positive whatever it is.
You have me a bit worried, but i too have a body that has some "freak-of-nature-esk" problems. Remember all the seizures I had in highschool!! Took them forever to figure out what the hell was wrong with me!!
I love you and I know that whatever life throws at you, you can handle it. You are an incredibly strong person and with that amazing husband of yours, you are unstopable!!!
Let me know if you need anything!!!
