I had another ultrasound today. The baby actually looked like a baby this time...it was amazing! It was also moving around all over the place. It looked as though it were dancing, but I couldn't feel a thing. I couldn't help but chuckle. I asked how far along most women are before baby movements can be felt, and the nurse said approximately 20 weeks. I'm at 9 1/2 right now, but if this little one is as active in 10 more weeks as it was today, I'm in trouble!
I need to come up with some "names" to call the baby until we know its gender. Referring to it as "It" or "The baby" lacks luster and I'm afraid that referring to it as "The life sucker" outside of my home would not be favorable....any suggestions?
The heart beat was good and I was again told that everything is working out as beautifully as it possibly can. I get another week off and go back on Dec. 10. I do, however, have an earache. It's been hurting since Sunday (late Sunday night) and last night I finally had to get out the heating pad to ease the aching. While at my appointment today I had them check my ears and apparently I was right...my right ear is "horribly inflamed" and I have to start taking some antibiotics. I'm glad to know this now and get the prescription tonight versus being in pain on Thanksgiving and not being able to get a hold of medication. Hopefully the antibiotics will do their thing, and by Thursday I'll be feeling fine....especially since I'm hosting dinner this year and work all day tomorrow!

I'm glad you are feeling a little better, aside from the earache. And I'm so glad there was more good news from the Dr. Isn't it so cool to see the baby move? And you'll love feeling it move!
Baby name suggestions? Well, I agree that "The Life Sucker" isn't very favorable, but other than that, I'm really no help. We called Matthew 'Francis' and Abby by whatever Fruit/Veggie babycenter.com used to describe her current weight and/or length. Not very creative, I know. I have a friend who referred to hers as Lil' Bit - I thought that was cute. Like I said, I'm really no help.
How exciting that you got to see the baby moving around!!! Sorry to hear you had such a horrible earache. That is no fun!!
I think you should call it "your new little resident"!
Yep, I'm a total blog junky. I'll definitely keep in touch and you do the same. By the way, congrats on baby #1.
